MJB is back!
Mary J. Blige is serving up some real soul on this new music she’s blessing us with! After spending a summer in London working with a new team of EDM music producers like Disclosure and soul singers like Sam Smith, she has developed a new sound and we’re here for it.
Lifted from her new LP The London Sessions, MJB released two new singles. Her first official single “Whole Damn Year,” written by Emeli Sande is classic Mary. On the song, she retracks the recovery process after a heartbreak which took a “whole damn year” to get over! We’re here for this!
She also released a second track called “Therapy.” The song is written by Sam Smith and is inspired by Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab.”
