Although The Soul Train Awards occurred last month, it appeared on television last night on BET & Centric. Held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, the stars were glamorous and in full effect for the event!
Black and white seemed to be the colors of the night with beauties like K. Michelle and Vivica A. Fox wearing black lace gowns. Janelle Monae stood out in 2-piece black and white pant suit, while Ashanti showed some skin in a black, white, and nude gown. Jennifer Hudson looked fab in a shorter black and white dress accented with a gold belt.
There was a few bursts of color on the red carpet as well. The Legendary Gladys Knight and actress Keyshia Knight Pullium stood out in red and blue dresses. Chrisette Michelle looked sweet in a black party dress, while R&B divas Toni Braxton and Faith Evans looked gorgeous in nude and black dresses.
The ladies weren’t the only stars of the carpet. Lecrae, Eric Benet, Mack Wilds, the great Ronald Isley, and host, Anthony Anderson looked very dapper on the red carpet.
